IMO Exit Sign – ES0014
This IMO exit sign marks a standard means of escape aboard a vessel or offshore structure, directing crew and passengers toward a stairwell, deck access, or muster station during normal operations and emergencies alike. The simple green field and white lettering follow internationally recognised safety colour coding, so the sign reads instantly regardless of a viewer’s first language.
Unlike signage restricted to emergency-only doors, this IMO exit sign is typically mounted above or beside routes used in day-to-day movement around the vessel, reinforcing the layout of escape routes long before an alarm ever sounds. Familiarity with the position of every exit sign on board is part of standard safety drills, helping crew react quickly under stress.
Because visibility can fail exactly when it matters most, this IMO exit sign is manufactured from photoluminescent film that absorbs ambient light and re-emits it as a steady glow during a blackout or when smoke obscures normal lighting, keeping the escape route legible until power and visibility are restored.
