These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of safetysignhub.com.au (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from Safety Sign Hub (ABN 37 021 013 821) of 12 Fox Street, Spearwood WA 6163, Australia (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we sell to

We supply photoluminescent IMO and marine safety signage to businesses (ship chandlers, shipyards, fleet operators, surveyors and contractors) and to individuals. Where you buy as a consumer within the meaning of the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), nothing in these Terms limits or excludes the guarantees and rights the ACL gives you. Where you buy for business purposes, these Terms apply to the fullest extent the law allows.

2. Orders and acceptance

An order placed through the Site is an offer to buy. We accept your offer when we send an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch (for example, a pricing or stock error, or a suspected fraudulent transaction); if we do, we will refund any payment in full. Please check your order confirmation carefully — sign codes (IMPA/ISSA), sizes and quantities are as selected by you at checkout.

3. Prices and GST

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Shipping is charged in addition and shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders we have already confirmed. Volume and trade pricing is available on request via our Contact page.

4. Payment

Payment is taken at the time of order by credit or debit card through Stripe. We do not store your card details. Trade account or invoice terms may be offered to approved business customers by separate written agreement.

5. Dispatch and delivery

Signs are produced and dispatched from Spearwood, Western Australia. Our target is dispatch within 2 business days of payment for stocked items; large or custom orders may take longer and we will tell you if so. Shipping within Australia is charged at a flat rate shown at checkout, with free shipping on orders over the threshold displayed at checkout. Delivery times after dispatch depend on the carrier and your location and are estimates only. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us; title passes when payment is received in full. Please check that your delivery address is correct — we are not responsible for parcels sent to an incorrect address supplied by you.

6. Product information and compliance

Our photoluminescent signs are manufactured on film certified under the EU Marine Equipment Directive (DNV MED Module B and Module D) and use symbols in accordance with IMO Resolution A.1116(30) and ISO 24409, as described on each product page. You are responsible for selecting the correct sign, size and quantity for your vessel and for compliance with the requirements of your flag state, classification society and any applicable survey. We recommend confirming requirements with your surveyor or class before ordering. Product images are representative; minor variations in colour or finish may occur.

7. Returns, refunds and faulty goods

Consumer guarantees. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Damaged or incorrect items. If your order arrives damaged, or we sent the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We will replace the item or refund it, including return shipping where the fault is ours.

Change of mind. For stocked, unused signs in original condition, we accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping is at your cost and the original shipping charge is not refunded. Custom, made-to-order or personalised signs cannot be returned for change of mind. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can issue a return reference.

Refunds are made to the original payment method, normally within 5 business days of us receiving the returned goods.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and except for the consumer guarantees described above, our liability for any claim arising from the supply of goods is limited to the price paid for those goods, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit, vessel downtime, survey delays or penalties). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Intellectual property

The Site content, product photography and artwork are owned by or licensed to Safety Sign Hub and may not be reproduced without permission. IMO and ISO symbols are used in accordance with the relevant standards.

10. Accounts and Site use

If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. You must not use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that interferes with its operation.

11. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and you submit to the jurisdiction of its courts. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version published on the Site at the time you order applies to that order.
