Acetylene Pipe Marker – ISO 14726 Marine Pipe Identification PM0067
Self-adhesive pipe marker reading ACETYLENE on a yellow-ochre background, the ISO 14726 main colour for flammable gases. Use it on fixed acetylene distribution lines from the cylinder store to workshop outlets. Clear pipe identification lets crew, surveyors and contractors trace a system quickly during operation, maintenance and emergencies, and is routinely checked at class and flag state surveys.

Where to fit
- Both sides of valves and at branches
- Both sides of bulkhead and deck penetrations
- At pumps, tanks, manifolds and connection points
- At regular intervals along straight runs, close enough that a marker is always in sight
Each marker has a flow arrow at both ends. Trim off the arrow you do not need, or leave both on lines that flow in either direction.
Material
Printed on polymeric self-adhesive vinyl with a clear protective over-laminate for resistance to oil, fuel splash, cleaning chemicals, salt spray and UV. Permanent acrylic adhesive. Apply to clean, dry, degreased pipe or lagging. Not intended for surfaces above 80°C; on hot lines apply to the lagging.
Standard
Background colour follows the ISO 14726 main colour for flammable gases. ISO 14726 also allows an additional colour band to identify the specific medium within a group; this marker identifies the medium by its printed legend. If your yard or owner’s specification calls for a particular two-colour band, tell us and we will supply it to your colour schedule.
