Actuated Valve Engraved Sign – Traffolyte-style EW0065

Engraved sign reading ACTUATED VALVE, blue with white text. For pump stations, treatment plant, plant rooms, valve pits, meters, backflow devices and hydraulic services in buildings, irrigation schemes and water and wastewater sites.

These are equipment identification labels. Warning signs for non-drinking, recycled or hazardous water have prescribed wording and colours and are not part of this range. If you need different wording, use our custom engraved label.

Sizes

Other sizes, thicker 3 mm laminate and engraved stainless steel on request.

Fixing

Choose self-adhesive backing (high-bond tape, for clean flat surfaces), or 2 or 4 screw holes for bulkheads, doors and rough or oily surfaces. Corners are radiused.

Material

Engraved laminate (Traffolyte-style): a rigid two-ply engraving laminate, 1.6 mm thick. The coloured surface layer is laser engraved through to a contrasting core, so the lettering is part of the sign and cannot rub, peel or wash off. UV-stable, non-conductive, and resistant to salt spray, oil, fuel splash and cleaning chemicals. Suitable for interior and exterior use. Not for surfaces above 80°C.

We use a modern laser-grade acrylic laminate rather than the original phenolic Traffolyte sheet. If your specification calls for genuine phenolic or a halogen-free grade, ask us before ordering.
